At Peak of Muskoka Contracting ("Peak of Muskoka," "we," "us"), we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use this website to request a quote.
Our practices are governed by Canada’s federal private-sector privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Information We Collect
We only collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us through our online quote form. This includes:
- Name
- Phone number
- The location of the job, so we can quote and, if you hire us, find the property
- Any details or photos about your roofing, deck or dock, drywall, snow removal, eavestrough or yard maintenance request that you choose to share in the form
If you email us at the address below, we also receive your email address and whatever you write to us.
2. How We Use Your Information
We operate under a strict purpose-limited data policy. The information you submit is used only to give you a quote and, if you go ahead, to carry out and follow up on the work.
- No marketing: your phone number and email address are never used for unsolicited marketing, newsletters or promotional campaigns.
- No selling or renting: we do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal information with third-party marketers.
3. Website Analytics and Tracking
We do not use invasive behavioural tracking, such as a Meta Pixel, to follow your activity across other websites or build an advertising profile of you. This site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, for example if we add Google Search Console or Google Ads conversion tracking, we will update this policy first and describe exactly what each tool does.
When you visit, a few technical services load content from outside providers, and they can see your IP address and basic browser details as a normal part of delivering that content:
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on this site.
- OpenStreetMap supplies the map tiles on our service area map.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
Your form submission is transmitted securely to us. We only share your data with trusted infrastructure providers, our website host and form processor (Netlify) and our email provider (Google Gmail), strictly so your quote request reaches the owner. These providers are bound by their own security and privacy commitments, and we do not permit them to use your information for their own marketing purposes.
Some of these providers store data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
5. Data Retention and Safeguards
We retain your contact details and any photos only for as long as necessary to fulfill your quote request, or to manage the resulting business relationship if you hire us. If you do not go ahead with our services, your information is securely deleted. This site uses industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption so your data is protected in transit.
6. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request corrections to any inaccuracies
- Request that we delete your information from our systems

The project photographs on this site show roofing, decking, snow removal and other work carried out by Peak of Muskoka Contracting. All of them are © Peak of Muskoka Contracting, all rights reserved.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use these photographs for any purpose without our written permission. If you would like to use one, contact us using the details below.
The photos show customers’ properties, never customers themselves. If a photo of your property is on this site and you would rather it wasn’t, tell us and we will take it down.
